Emily Junck, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Emily Junck, MD – Medical Director
Dr. Emily Junck is our Lead Medical Director since 2021. She joined our team in 2017 as an Associate Medical Director for our Southeast Alaska operations. She oversees QA/QI, training, and protocol development, as well as other clinical functions for LifeMed. Dr. Junck studied Neuroscience and Russian studies at New York University before returning home to complete medical school at the University of Michigan. She completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington and a fellowship in Helicopter EMS in Auckland, New Zealand. She has also worked as an Emergency Medicine physician at Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, Alaska, and at PeaceHealth Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington, as the supervising physician for Bellingham Fire Department, and as the medical director for the paramedic training program at Bellingham Technical College. Dr. Junck currently works clinically at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. She has an interest in rural and remote EMS, community paramedicine, telemedicine, and of course flight medicine. You may catch her outside of work doing her favorite hobbies: running, biking, skiing, hiking, international travel, and ballroom dancing.
Deborah Lerner, MD
Pediatric Medical Director
Dr. Deborah Lerner, MD – Pediatric Medical Director
Dr. Deborah Lerner is a Pediatric Intensivist who is dedicated to improving outcomes of critically ill children through optimization of transport care. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and was an assistant professor at Washington University in St Louis. In Alaska now for 17 years, she has worked at both Providence Alaska Medical Center and Alaska Native Medical Center PICUs, in addition to her transport medical directorships. She has also been a Medical Advisor for LifeCenter Northwest. She was a member of the State Trauma Committee, an expert panel member for the State of Alaska Cold Injuries Guidelines and worked on projects for the National Grant for All Alaska Pediatric Partnership Medical Emergency Preparedness. She provides education and guidance in critical pediatrics for pre-hospital services, regional clinics, and hospitals within the state; and has received special commendations for commitment to pre-hospital medical education and advancement of quality pediatric critical care. She is married to Mark Meuser, RN, a former flight nurse, and enjoys travel and SCUBA diving.
Corinna Muller, MD

Dr. Corinna Muller, DO, FACOOG – OB Medical Director
Dr. Muller was born at Providence Hospital in Anchorage and grew up in Eagle River/Chugiak. After college, (she attended UAF), Dr. Muller attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her internship at the University of Minnesota. Her post-graduate training occurred in Pennsylvania where she completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (Geisinger Medical Center). She is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is also the founder/owner of Aurora Maternal-Fetal Medicine here in Anchorage.
